This is Volume 2 of the Open Source Music project (see john.audio/opensource). The first volume is "Get Beyond," which is available on this Bandcamp. On "If I Want You To," John examines the privilege and power that people try to grant him over themselves, and the conflicting feelings of both repulsion and seduction that follow.

On that note, this release features no fewer than 22 b-sides, capturing John's period of very angry and turbulent expressionism and early post-rock sonic experimentation.
